Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society
What is Kappa Delta Pi?
Kappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society in Education. Kappa Delta Pi has been organized to recognize scholarship and excellence in education. Those individuals elected to membership exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, service to community, and promise, in the teaching and allied professions, recognized by the Society.
How to become a KDP member?
Undergraduate Criteria
- Full-Time Student
- 3.0 cumulative grade point average or higher
- Completed 80 undergraduate semester hours
- Pursuing Teacher Certification
- Involved in community service
Graduate Student Criteria
- 3.0 grade point average or higher
- Completed 15 semester hours
- Involved in community service
Benefits of KDP membership
Upon joining this organization, an individual remains a member for life with his or her name recorded permanently in Society Headquarters files. Active membership is maintained through payment of annual dues. Membership allows the individual to attend meetings of the chapter and to be recognized at induction ceremonies, as well as graduation ceremonies. Membership benefits also include publications, conferences, and other member benefits offered by the International Society.
