Applications can be filed online through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Copies of COEs and accompanying documents should be submitted to the Office of Military & Veterans Services
Once processed, payments can take anywhere from four to six weeks to activate. Please be patient. If benefits have not been received by then, contact the Office of Military & Veterans Services for Assistance.
For Chapter 35/DEA provide a Certificate of Eligibility and the veteran’s complete file number.
For Chapter 33 Transfer of Entitlement (TOE): submit a Certificate of Eligibility.
Monthly Verification is required for Post 9/11 and Montgomery GI Bill® beneficiaries. Information can be found at
Speak to the Office of Military & Veterans Services prior to making changes to avoid payment adjustments. Chapter 33 students will owe repayment if withdrawal occurs.
In certain circumstances, the VA will pay for repeated course. Please contact the Office of Military & Veterans Services for details.
Yes. Students must notify Âé¶¹´«Ã½â€™s Military & Veterans Office each semester. Chapter 33 is certified prior to the start of the term; others are certified after add/drop.
Yes. Annual filing is required by state law for tuition waivers.
Students must pay all fees before the term ends and maintain a CGPA ≥2.0.
Separate waivers are required for Fall, Winter & Spring. One Waiver will cover all three Summer Sessions
Contact Military & Veterans Services for information. A VA case manager will provide VA Form 28‑1905 once eligible; bookstore purchases are limited to course materials.
Yes. Students should submit all transcripts (JST, CCAF), DD214, or certificates to the Transfer Resource Center.
Yes. The GI Bill® covers CLEP exams. Refer to VA’s national testing page. Local military personnel can also use DANTES at Fort Dix.
While Âé¶¹´«Ã½ participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program, all military affiliated students will be billed as in-state tuition, regardless of status.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ is a cross-town ROTC school with Seton Hall (Army) and NJIT (Air Force).
